Alling Enterprises is owned by Tonya Alling. In 1989, Alling earned her BA from Ripon College, double-majoring in history and english. While a student, she was hired by a local small commercial printer, during the start-up phase of desktop publishing. Upon graduation, she worked in the electronic pre-press departments of three commercial printing firms, affording her a workload ranging from commercial op/service manuals to detailed design work.

Alling Enterprises was launched in 1998. Since then, the business has grown to include clients across the United States.
